New feature in GMail Chat is “Group Chat” for Microsoft Explorer 7.0 and Firefox 2.0 Web Browers
The group chat feature lets you chat with many friends at once. There’s no limit to the number of people you can chat with, and any participant can invite others to join. To get started, follow these steps:
1. Start a chat with a single person in your Contacts list.
2. Once you’ve started the chat, click Options at the bottom left of your chat window and select Group Chat.
3. In the field labeled ‘Add a person to this chat,’ enter the name of the contact(s) you want to add to your group chat.
To end your chat, click the X at the corner of the chat window. Others in the group chat will get a message saying that you’ve left the conversation. If you want to rejoin, you’ll need to be invited back by a contact who’s still in the group chat. The group chat will continue until all participants have left.

If you’re tired of not being able to find the right words to express yourself in your messages, emoticons are here to help. GMail has a number of images (for example, smiley faces, food and drinks, or broken hearts) that you can use with, or in place of, the text in your messages. Follow these steps to play along:
1. When you’re composing a message, click the Insert Emoticon button on the toolbar; it’s the face located between the Highlight Color and the Link button.
2. The emoticon pane expands, and remains open so you can select as many images as you’d like. Click an image, and it’s inserted in your message.
3. If you’d like to collapse the emoticon picker after you’ve selected an image, you can just click the Insert Emoticon button in the toolbar again.
Keep in mind you’ll need to be in rich formatting mode to see the emoticon button. Have fun.

However, the secret is utilizing the creation of 250 character Google alerts as an invitation, so to speak to drive massive traffic to YOU. Ok, the cats out of the bag now. So, you want to know how it’s simple.
Once you’ve signed into your Google account you will see options.
Click on Alerts. If it’s your first time complete information in box “Create a Google Alert” … huge secret put search terms in quotes. Choose comprehensive (news, blogs, video), enter your email, and either choose once a day or as it happens. Then click create.
